View east from Mt. Greylock to the City of Adams. This is the lowlands of the marble valley of the Hoosic River (flowing north and west) and the Housatonic River which flows south to Long Island Sound. Mt Greylock tops out at 3487 feet, the highest point in Massachusetts.
