Goal: Events and people in Massachusetts’s history played a major part in the development of Massachusetts.

1. How did the actions of the Loyalists affect the feelings of the Colonists/Patriots during the development of Massachusetts?

2. What people and events in Massachusetts’s history played a part in the onset of the Revolutionary War?

Ø      Compare/Contrast map: Patriots versus Loyalists

Ø      Talk about specific Patriots: Samuel Adams, Paul Revere, John Hancock
