--Received $9600 University Public Service Grant to assist municipalities and non-profits to utilize GIS technology for mapping purposes. June, 1989 to December, 1990. With Janet Duncan, Geography, and John Murphy, Computing Services, Univ of Mass/Boston.

 

--Received $87,000 NYNEX grant for Environmental Assessment of the Runnins River, Seekonk, Massachusetts. Involved 4

Wheeler School (High school) students. Summer, 1995. With David Nellis and John Looney, Department of Geography, Univ of Mass/Boston.

           

-Received UMass Public Service Grant ($3200) with Professor John Looney; Titled "Neponset Pathfinders", to take 4 City High School students and investigate environmental conditions on the Neponset River. Summer-Fall,1996.

 

--Principal Investigator, $43,000 Mass Dept of Environmental Protection grant. "Household Hazardous Waste Prioritization  Study". Spring-Summer,1996.

 

--Received UMass Public Service Grant ($3500); titled “Inventory Mapping at the Massachusetts State Archives” Jan-Dec, 1998.

 

–-Received Massachusetts Dept of Environmental Protection  contract: ($27,000) with Dr. Alberto Giordano, Umass Dept of Earth & Geographic Sciences. “Computerization of the Massachusetts Chapter 91 Waterways Licenses”
